We are pleased to welcome Lauren Windsor, Physiotherapist to our team.
Lauren graduated from the Dalhousie University School of Physiotherapy in 2018. She previously completed a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry-Nutrition and a minor in Psychology at Memorial University of Newfoundland. During Lauren’s time at Memorial, she was a member of the Seahawks varsity women’s soccer team and was later inducted into the MUN Athletics Honour Society in 2014.
Since graduating, Lauren has practiced extensively in stroke and neurological rehabilitation while working at the Nova Scotia Rehabilitation Center. She also has experience treating many populations including a number of sports related injuries. She is currently in the process of completing post graduate training in orthopedic manual therapy. Lauren is a Canada Soccer National B Licensed coach and FIFA 11+ Certified with experience at the collegiate, Canada Games, and club level.
In her spare time, Lauren coaches soccer with United DFC, the Nova Scotia Provincial Program, and the Mount St. Vincent Mystics. She currently acts as Board Member and Treasurer of the Nova Scotia Physiotherapy Association. Lauren also enjoys running, cycling, hiking, and camping.
Lauren is currently accepting new clients into her practice.
